30 Stories in September: A #WritingProject

ShakespeareLast

I have an ambition (well, I have a few) and this one is to write one short (or long) story every day in the month of September.

Why? Because goals takes motivation and sustained effort, a quote from a book I recently read called ‘The Silent Wife’ by A.S.A. Harrison.  And it’s true.  And my goal is to write more.

You have to do what you want to do in life and you have to do it a lot to get better.

So, will I write fiction or nonfiction?  Both.  Some days I will be lazy, and it will show in my work.  Other days you’ll see more than just a monkey on a typewriter and hopefully I’ll churn out something really good.

By instilling this habit I hope to write more afterwards and, now that I’ve turned 29, I need to refresh this new year of age with a few resolutions.

I’ll start September 1.  Start by reading along with me!

    Hey Mel,

Good for you!! What an ambitious goal, but so worthwhile!

BTW, did you know that A.S.A. Harrison is Linda Harrison’s cousin?

Hi Kathy! No way, I had no idea, I will send Linda a note for sure.

Thanks for the feedback, now I just have to stick to it! 🙂
